list Sandor is a religious family man and Vidar's clockmaker.

Biography[ | ]

Sandor is in his late 30s. He is Vidar’s clockmaker, and a stoic but religious man. Sandor had two sons and a wife. His wife died during the birth of their second child several years ago. Sandor's youngest child was killed by the Beast in the weeks leading up to the start of the game. Erik, Sandor's older son, is his only remaining family. Where Sandor would have likely been a perfect father, the strain of losing two family members has made him desperate. He has become extremely overprotective of Erik, which has added only further tension to their already troubled relationship.

Sandor is equally protective of Katarina, who would frequently visit Sandor when she was a child to examine the clocks. Sandor is also close friends with Borbalo and the two share a similar approach to religion. Particularly after the loss of his wife and son, Sandor turned to Borbalo for life guidance. Sandor has become almost dependent on Borbalo, asking him for help in every manner of his life. Such a relationship is not sustainable, and will completely unhinge Sandor if it is cut short during the game.

At the start of the game, Sandor treats many residents of Vidar as neighbors or acquaintances. However, he can become close with Csaba and/or Groa if Tomi dies, and share the grief of burying a child with them. He can find the same relationship with Gusztav if Robert dies. In forming these friendships, Sandor can actually become a counselor to a grieving parent. This will in turn help him regain his independence and begin treating Borbalo as a friend again.
