Sprint Shoes allow the player to dash in Vidar and in the Beast's lair. They must be equipped to use, and so cannot be used simultaneously with the ice skates.
Getting the Sprint Shoes[ | ]
From Erika's Tear[ | ]
Requirements[ | ]
These two requirements must be met:
- Receive the quest "A Mother's Wish"
- Elek is alive
As well as one of the following:
- Dorottya is alive and is in the workshop
- Katarina is alive and is in the workshop
- Sandor is alive and is in the workshop
Completion[ | ]
If the player receives the quest "A Mother's Wish," they will be able to return the music box to Erika's grave in the Dark Cave. Note that this step can be completed even if Bernadett dies after receiving the quest; so long as Erika has possessed Bernadett and the player has the music box in their inventory. On returning the music box, the player will receive Erika's Tear.
The player can bring the tear back to Elek, who will melt it into an alloy which can be used to craft new shoes. Bringing the alloy to either Sandor, Katarina, or Dorottya in the workshop will reward the player with the sprint shoes.

This method allows the player to obtain the Sprint Shoes earlier than any other option, but has more requirements than the other options as well.
From the Spool of Waves[ | ]
The Sprint Shoes are also the reward for completing the quest "Loose Threads." On returning the Spool of Waves to Piri, she'll ask you to return the following day. If Piri is still alive the next day, she'll give you the Sprint Shoes. If the spool is instead returned to Cecilia, she'll ask you to get one of the twins to help her - once you do, she'll ask you to return the following day. If either is alive the next day, she'll give you the Sprint Shoes.
